Mario Cohen brings over 25 years of international business experience including industry specific experience in Fintech, Payments Cloud, CyberSecurity, IoT, BigData, with responsibilities from direct sales, creating sales outsourced teams, channel recruitment, and business planning. He is a visionary leader that has participated in the expansion of more than 500+ technology companies around the world - building winning teams, providing training, mentoring, and leading them for success.
He is the founder of Demtech in 2000, a sales consultancy firm supporting tech companies expanding into Europe and LATAM.
He also co-founded a mobile marketing agency Viachannel in 2002 . Co-founded a Mobile Proximity and Payment start- up Media Proximity in 2006. Mentor at Venture Capital Top Seed Labs in 2012. Co-Founder of HyperNova, a company builder in 2014. In 2015, Innovation Director and Advisory Board at Widerpool, a global innovation matchmaker consultancy firm, enabling corporates to find startups. Independent Scouter for Banco Santander in Israel to identify innovation and start ups to invest. Co-Founder of PAX-Iberica 2015, a Subsidiary of PAX Technology ( SEHK) leader in POS terminals.
He has an Undergraduate Degree (B.A.) in Business, Management Information and Technology, from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain. He also has an MBA Technology and Business by the University of Jerusalem.
Mario has been appointed as strategic advisor and Head of EU Sales for different companies such as: BlueCode, Thetaray, Eyesight Technologies, TSI Payment, Wirecard , WaveCrest, WorldLine, among others.
Member of several organizations such as European Payment Consulting Association (EPCA) and FinTech Connector.
